To Anita, her love for cooking comes from family. Her grandmothers, one Arab and the other Italian, cooked very well, so she always appreciated good food.
A preschool teacher graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru ( Catholic University of Peru ); started cooking as a hobby. She began preparing desserts for her friends in 2001 and after that the culinary studies would come at INSTITUTO LOS ANDES ( Andes Culinary School ) 2002-2003, Lima-Peru. Here, she won various internal contests, as Creative Pastry, Japanese and Chinese cuisine, Christmas Dinner, Sauces Meats and Salads, Brunch, etc. In 2002 she launched "Salados y Dulces de Anita", a small catering family-run business, which was characterized for delivering first quality food completely "homemade".
Now in Canada it became, since the year 2003, "Meals and Sweets" and maintains the same vision, high quality homemade products of the international cuisine, besides offering its clients a personalized catering service.
